Happy Labor Day! It’s a holiday, so this is a fluffy post today to wish you all well… hoping you are enjoying good BBQ, a day off from work, and a cold beer. While I pack up the last few items before my movers arrive, I’m feeling a bit like I’m in my own personal Twilight Zone. Neither here nor there. Argh. I’m prepping many posts for School of Moxie so that even while I’m transitioning from one Internet connection to another (Ah, Internet… when did you become the most important aspect of moving??) you’ll all still have uninterrupted Moxie service.
When I think about leaving Los Angeles, I think of the song Act Naturally. I think this song is brilliant on soooo many levels!
I’m just excited to be able to relax my inner city girl and let my inner country girl out of her closet for a while. But I have a photographic love letter to Los Angeles to share with y’all (see what I just did there?) and you’ll be seeing that in just a few days.
While I’m on the road, you can keep up with my adventures (and Mr. Giles’ adventures, too!) on social media. I’ll be posting pictures to Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter as often as possible… plus a sneak peek of my new sewing studio once we arrive.
